Two dives, one day
El Chicho + Padre Nuestro
Two systems inside Cotubanamá National Park, dived the same day. Wide passages, long visibility, a dry chamber packed with formations. Padre Nuestro has a halocline and, on the floor, fossils more than a thousand years old. Where most cave divers here start.

El Toro
Widely held to be the most beautiful cave in the Dominican Republic, four kilometres long. Crystal water, a halocline, stretches of bacterial mat. Demanding because it is beautiful. A fifteen-minute walk through woodland; tanks come in by horse. The entrance opens almost the size of a football pitch.

- Do I need to be certified?
- For the cave packages, yes — Intro to Cave at minimum, more for the longer systems. Tell us your level when you write.
- What is included?
- Guide, private transport from your hotel, and the full kit including XDEEP. Food is not included.
- Hotel pickup?
- Yes. Private transport is in every package. Send the hotel name and arrival date.
- How far in advance?
- Two or three days is usually enough. High season: a week. Already here? Message anyway.
- Weather?
- If conditions are wrong we move the day, or refund if that is not possible.
- Who guides?
- Italo. Same instructor from the first briefing to the last ascent.
